Education & Workforce Development
The Education and Workforce Development Division comprises 10 programs. Our programs stretch across SD with its main concentration in the western part of the state. Our programs include Adult Education and Literacy (GED® prep, adult basic education, and English as a Second Language), Workforce Connections, Project SEARCH, Project Skills, National Farmworker Jobs Program, Community Education, Driver’s Education, Black Hills Academy, and the Professional Assessment Center. Our participants and students rely on us for help in developing skills for economic self-sufficiency and in providing non-traditional approaches to education.
